About Jean-Marc Mercy
Jean-Marc has over 14 years of experience in human resources, talent development, and executive recruiting. He has been an international partner of Franklin Covey since 2017, and currently serves as Managing Partner of the franchise in Ivory Coast through his company Bridge Workforce Development Consulting. He received a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Management and Training from the University of Leicester.
As the former Human Resources Business Partner of Microsoft for West and Central Africa, Jean-Marc supported the implementation of a leadership development program to instill a winning culture and transform managers and employees into a high-performance workforce that “empowers people to achieve more”. Jean-Marc has also served as Human Resources Specialist with the United Nations Operation in Ivory Coast and worked in a team responsible for attracting, hiring, and retaining top talent. He played a key role during the liquidation of this UN peacekeeping operation. Jean-Marc previously worked with different UN agencies and nonprofit organizations in Africa and the United States.
He offers training solutions and provides consulting services to individuals and organizations. His topics include leadership, personal and interpersonal effectiveness, employee engagement, talent management, change management, and building winning cultures.
Jean-Marc has also served on the Board of Directors for the Bridge Initiative, a DRC-based nonprofit that tackles youth unemployment, and has been a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) since 2008.
He enjoys traveling the world to share his passion.
